I started Signs for Sleep because I know firsthand how exhausting and overwhelming sleep challenges can be, and how much it matters to find support that actually feels right for your family.
As a mum to a toddler, I've lived the tired mornings, the fourth, fifth, sixth + wake-ups, and the desperate googling at 2am as to why my baby won't sleep, or won't stop crying. I also discovered something beautiful along the way: teaching my own child basic sign language gave us a way to communicate long before words arrived. When he could sign "sleep" to tell me he was tired, everything shifted. That connection changed our nights and our naps, and it's now the heart of what makes Signs for Sleep unique.
I trained through the Holistic Sleep Coaching Program, earning an OCN Level 6 qualification, one of the most rigorous certifications available in sleep coaching. My approach is gentle, responsive, and attachment-informed. I look at the whole child — temperament, feeding, development, environment, not just the sleep. With optional baby sign language, I empower parents and children to communicate their needs, improve sleep and strengthen bonds in a calm, supportive environment.
I will never recommend cry it out, Ferber, or extinction methods. Not because they don't work for some families, but because they're not right for me to offer, and I believe there is always a gentler path. If you've tried cry-it-out methods and your heart can't take it, or it hasn't worked for you, you're in the right place.
